Hi just brought a pat test adapter for my tester for ÂŁ30.79 plus the vodka and tonic, sound very cheap as i dont do much pat testing..

Has anyone used one?

I think i will go with this as well. My PAT tester is ancient and weighs a ton. I dont do enough PAT testing and nor do i want to, to justify paying the national debt for a new one, so 30 odd quid sounds good to me.

there is a place on york road in leeds sirkit i will pop a link on for you. great set of guys and they do calibration there too.

Sorry for hijacking the thread!

Phil was looking at getting a megger from there, take it you reccomend them? looks alright might have to pop up and have a look!

Since the pat adapter works with the megger too looks like I might have to take my chequebook up! :D

I looked at the pat test adapter then got a single socket and joined a cable from live to neutral and stripped the cable in the middle. Bit Pikey but does the same job? Cheers
