As above, i am after a PAT tester , to start up with.. Eg cheaper the better .. also any reccomendations

try ebay. i bought a swaward 1500x for ÂŁ60 3 years ago. basic,no frills , rugged, does the job.
 
I've got the Martindale HPAT600 Hand held pat tester.

Don't make the mistake i did, and buy something expensive if you're not going to be using it often.

Got it 18months ago and it's still nowhere near paying for itself.

I don't ever encourage buying cheap and cheerful (you buy once, you buy twice ect..) but it's PAT testing we're talking about here so the cheaper the better.
 
Hi there

ive got two Megger pat testers both in there hard cases one is 110 volt and other 240 volt with one full set of test leads

looking for ÂŁ120 for both bought them three years ago for a new venture but the recession hit so been in storeage ever since

Hiya ive a good working Seaward 2000I . Does everything with bells n whistles
ÂŁ50 But youll have to collect it from Yorkshire . Was my first tester and gave me a good start
in PAT Testing . cheers Dave at Wakefield.
