Hi all

Have been approached by my employer to try and determine if a product we use in consumer's homes needs to be PAT tested.

Its a Powerline Ethernet adaptor with a mains pass-through (Comtrend Powergrid 9020) -- see link below

http://www.comtrend.com/links/114$product.htm

It is marked as double insulated, but the socket extension pass-thru is throwing me off.

Any advice greatly appreciated :)

Thank you all in advance.

Kay.

double insulated, low risk, formal visual recorded inspection.

BUT

as it has a mains pass through socket I would treat it as an extension lead, albeit a very short one.
Must test that earth continuity.
