Pat Testing - sometimes the customer understands

I called in on a customer today, we look after his PC's, CCTV, Network and PAT. He said he had had the hard sales from <guess name of PAT company>, who apparently could not understand why he is paying £2.00 a test when they offer £0.50. He went on to say he told them to <guess expletive> and that he suspected they just stuck the labels on. Unbeliveably, they still could not understand why he did not want them to "save him money". Apparently it took a string of expletives before they gave up.

Made me feel appreciated though, kneeling in engine oil and bolts actually testing things.

This brings so much encouragement to the weary souls actually PAT testing properly. Long live common sense!!!!! I do wish some of the larger Electrical bodies would stand up to the cheats in the industry - where's the backbone!!!!!!
