in pat testing if a electrical appliance has inbuilt electronics, does the the insulation restance need to be reduced to 250v dc and earth continuity?????? have 50 items to do and never done it before, just anything you should think i should remember, thanks if ya knows baby

test as you would IT equipment. i.e. 250v and low current earth continuity.

practice at home till you can do it blindfold. try not to blow anything up. LOL.

i don't mean intentionally. just don't go shoving 500v across your laptop. they don't like it up 'em mr, mainwaring!

6.50 and use your own car , sure you could stand in newsagents and hand out newspapers for that and you car shinny out front, but cud lead to something better, ya never know

think it would just lead to a bad experience for somebody.....wear and tare on vehicle, extra insurance for using for job, petrol/diesel money. they would just refuse to pay for your fuel etc and you would be spending money to do this, and as for leading to something better,if anybody else found out you were working for 6.50 an hour then either that would be expected and that would be your new wage ad-infinitum or they would class you as some kind of idiot and want to keep you away for fear that you would make them look bad...
