Is there a plug in socket tester that shows neutral earth reversed
I don't think one exist

never seen one myself. they don't make em so as we have to take the socket off and have a look see.

I dont know of one either TBH.

Most advanced one I know of is the SOK 32, short of loop and RCD testing aswell.

we prove our earth connection via a wandering lead on all class 1 fittings and at the same time the terminal screw on fcu, skts and alike.
proving your earth this way then using your martindale proves your polarity across all three conductors.

matine dale do 1 where the L-E lamp is dimmer than L-N which is ment show that the earth path is a higher resistance but I have never seen one in the shops
