Hi Guys

I'm planning an install on a Kingspan type roof but am struggling with a solution to penetrate the roof that I can be happy with. Normally I would have always avoided going through the roof but the alternative on this install would require a much lengthened cable run which I really do not want to have to do.

Any one have any experience or good products they can share?

Thanks

Would any of the DEKtite products help perhaps? An overview of their metal-roof flashings can be found here. Or are you concerned more with actually making the entry through the Kingspan insulated panels?

How about removing a section of ridge capping, (usually rivitted on ) bring cables between crown and drop through the rig top. Refit capping, all in pvc conduit

i second the dektite flashing. Used these on domestic an commercial, the commercial one is great and makes cable entry easy and water tight and takes seconds to install!

WHen you say Kingspan type roof, could you be a bit more specific - Kingspan make about 10 different roof coverings and have numerous roof insulation and building products.
