Hello all

I'm trying to find a template of a electrical periodic report certificate that comes in a word format or something I can put information into onsite using my laptop. I have just registered with Napit and imagine they have something on their website but they haven't finished setting up my account as yet.

Thanks

Flip, as Tony and the guys say, if you are only doing domestic, Castline is good - once you get the printer settings sorted!
Have you had a look through the forum for previous posts like this from tester steve. If you have adobe professional you can use these from your laptop on site! I wouldnt be worrying too much about using them on site, and just write the results down and do them at home - unless you have a flash meter that sends all the results straight to the sheets!

I used the Castline one for the last few months and liked it but have had to purchase another one to do industrial and commercial installations

edit: Just had a look in the NAPIT members area and cant see anything there thats free for use with Word etc

did you buy a disk with all certificates on or separate booklets

Not sure if you mean me or Flip25, I ended up going for the Amtech Fast Test Software package, which included the upgrades for next year when the certs change again! Struggled a bit at first to use it, but the first cert i used with it had almost 200 circuits from 5 boards and it links all the submains for you - once you know how to get around it! Done a few now and seems good! I think those ones that Tester Steve has produced are excellent, but the time factor by looking up BS details and Max Ze for each circuit would be a nightmare. Especiallly when my memory is crap, i can never remember the numbers and codes!
