Periodic Question

Just a couple of questions.1. Just done a periodic and on 1 ring there is no continuity on all 3 cables. Can i just put them on a 16a mcb as there guy wants to keep costs down.2. Done another periodic, brought up a few problem, the guy just said just get on with it, so 1 of the jobs was to change cu. So will i have to give a failed periodic then a passed one, or do i have to give a new installations cert too?? Thank you.

No you cant just put them on a 16 amp mcb, for one its only a periodic and for two you will have left broken unterminated conductors lying around.

For two i would give a passed pir and eic for new db after you corrected any faults

Could you with the following type of codes:-
1. What code for ground floor sockets with out RCD protection.
2. No IP rated light fitting in bathroom.
3. Which rewireable fused board becomes unsave when there is no damage
