Items of current using equipment on different phases is there a reg for a minimum distances apart, something raised in discussion yesterday someone mentioned 2 metres but I cant track a reg, other than phase barriers in an enclosure I cant remember anything else

L1 drives a lathe, L2 drives a milling machine, physically should they be a minimum distance apart, I think that some earlier edition deemed a min of 6 ft,

Fixed wired appliances - less of an issue and there are lables you can use to indicated 400V between devices.

Now sockets are a different matter and i would do all i could to keep the distance a very long way apart, but its the labeling which is required.

Yep phoned the NICEIC Tech help desk labeling only required cant remember the reg quoted may well have browse through my bed time book,

labelling is only required when the nominal voltage to earth exceeds 230V. 514.10.1. QED.

I encounter numerous large grid switches for numerous lighting bays and loads of times different phases present
Usually poor labelling too but as said sockets are advised to be kept apart
