Have a potential customer who runs a photographic studio. Says he has approx 50 items needing PAT testing, mainly EL1 cables, and some SC1 and SC2 cables. Not sure what those cables are - as far as I can tell they are either data cables or cables to set off flash lights. I wouldn't have thought data cables would need testing, and am not sure about what sort of voltages and currents flash light cables would carry. Can anyone enlighten me here?
