Photography booth in a Car workshop lighting???

Hi, I got asked to do a job recently to install some lighting in a booth in a car workshop, where they are going to be taking photos of cars for magazine shoots and for customers to get good shots of their cars. <br>I have had a few ideas using daylight tubes, track lighting or hps lamps like you find in fuel stations but Just wandered if anyone had any ideas on what types of light/lighting systems to use??<br>Cheers&nbsp;<br>Steve

you could use those lights that the pro's use,bit like and umbrella with a light in that makes ugly people look glamorous..then again it doesnt always work:bucktooth:

I would go for 'daylight' lamps, colours can look considerably different under various light sources. (I used to work in colour measurement many years ago)
Quite important, I would say, seeing as a car will spend most of its life outside!

I'm going with Archy daylight lamps.

If you doing stills it's a minefield with studio flash units. They work at 660v. They can not be used in a spray booth or paint store.

remember too, you dont want a direct light, thats why the umbrellas are used, all the light needs to be reflected some way or another to stop the shiny patches, unless they want effects.
