I recently installed a couple of piazza lights for a customer, 70w jobs, now she is saying they are too bright can i change the bulbs, no probs she is prepared to pay.

however the closet lamp i could fine was a 50w es type, also i have had problems before in the past with son lamps some seem to work some dont, some need ignitors some dont etc.

so can you change the lamp in a piazza lamp to a lower wattage, anyone know please??

thanks for your help.

Depends on the control gear? Whether it's electronic ballast or magnetic ballast??

Worked on street lighting a few years ago, the lighting was 99.9% magnetic ballasts. Often changed 70w son to 50w.
