Pipework bonding in flats

I have measured 0.08 to 0.15 ohms between earth and pipework, which according to GN8 makes this extraneous, i guess its bonded inside the flats which i have no access to.

should these be bonded at the communal consumer unit as well?

Yes, have you checked the communal area to see if is done, on page 72 gn8 it shows what needs to be done.

It has not been done in the communal area , i will look at gn8 when i get back to the office thanks

Are they single insulated cables feeding that distribution board?

Yep the tails are an issue. I’m also instantly suspicious when I see flexible conduit, hopefully not singles inside….

No i installed the flexi (on banding) to cross the pipe work , they have twin and earth inside them, the tails are double insulated 19 strand flexi tails.
it’s in a communal cupboard so it needs to be somewhat tenant proof!
