Further to an earlier post about 16th Ed and RCDs ......

When you're buying a house - effectively 'change of occupancy' - is it the responsibilty of the seller or the buyer to get the Periodic Inspection done?

If I was the buyer, I'd like to see it up front, but not have to pay up for it!

In my opinion it should be up to the seller to have PIR done and pay for it as it is in their interest to get a sale.
