I have just changed some old 600 x 600 units over to spots with LED GU10's in some toilets and the spots flick on and off when they should be off. the switches are old PIR type with a battery in them. i have put a temp switch on one and it works fine but the client wants to keep old stuff. Help!

The most likely cause of this behavior are:
1) Light spill from one or of the LED lamp is triggering the PIR, due to the wide spectrum of some LED sources extending into the infra-red.
2) The PIR incorporates a dawn-dusk sensor which is being triggered by one or more of the lamps.

Solutions include:
1a) Shielding the PIR sensor from extraneous light spill.
1b) Re-site the PIR sensor to avoid the extraneous light spill.
2a) Modify the dawn-dusk sensors threshold to prevent triggering.
2b) Bridge-out the dawn-dusk sensor to prevent triggering.

thanks markie
i changed the leds to normal gu10's and they work fine. i have talked to a few people about this and it seems that the aurora led is not compatible with the switch type that is on there.
