Never ever alter the design of a fire detection system. Always get the designer to change drawings etc. Even if something seems stupid never leave it out.

I'd certainly be inclined to raise the question though... You'll then be able to let us all know and we too would've have learnt something new for the day
Good advice yes, ...but by the same token, don't go ahead and install something you KNOW is wrong. ....Raise a ''Drawing Compliance Instruction'' for those responsible to either confirm or alter/amend an ''approved building drawing'' (ABD)
spoke to building control guy dealing with this application and he said dont put one in the WC or the utility room that are on the plans, he said no need, just a heat in the new kitchen. Cheers guys.
