Hi all
I have just come back to the industry after 10yrs and am lucky in getting a contract for my local council which will include a lot of bathroom work and have noticed that a lot of plastic trunking is used when there is no access from above to drop cables
I have a question regarding the use of plastic trunking to feed a shower and its IP rating.
Can plastic trunking be used .when connecting to the shower unit there is a problem in my eyes with getting a sealed coupling to the shower unit ,is there any products which are made for the job?
i have seen many jobs with trunking and the final joint made good with sealer which i dont think is good practice
would it be better to connect a shower unit in plastic conduit when a coupler can be correctley fitted
regards
Phil
