i have just been handed a sample of a handover package which i need to do to get mcs approved, but can people explain the one i list below, to make sure i have done it.

what is and where can i find a:

Hand over certificate

Pv system test sheet

emergency shutdown procedure

onsite panel test sheet

many thanks guys

Can't answer them all but here goes:

hand over cert - some sort of guarentee?

PV system test sheet - what it says (includes your strings test etc) and should also include a Installation Certificate

Emergency shutdown procedure - not sure why this is there!

Onsite panel test sheet - maybe this is the Installation cert

Where did you get this package - some of it seems over the top. My expectations would be:

Manuals for all parts (where applicable)
Details of manufacturers guarentees + plus your own
Test results/ certificates
Maybe a service contract?
Schematics

I'd suggest that a handover certificate which the customer signs to say that they have been shown the system, understand it, have inspected the works and are happy with the product is essential. It means that you go through all of your processes and that if in future there were a problem then you would be in a stronger position with regards how you left it.

Taken from DTI guide pg 40:

At the point of interconnection, the following information
is to be displayed (typically all displayed on the circuit diagram):
Circuit diagram showing the relationship between the inverter
equipment and supply.
A summary of the protection settings incorporated within the
equipment.
A contact telephone number for the supplier/installer/maintainer
of the equipment.
NB It is also good practice for shutdown and start-up procedures to be detailed on
this diagram

Shutdown procedure isnt required but is recommended.

Handover cert should be just as ramjam says.
