reading forumn tonight been along day few drinks cant be bothered digging books out can someone please re educate me on harmonics:mad:

Lol, I only know the stuff that I do and that's testing, power quality and Arsenal!

The power quality stuff is growing constantly as loads increase and switched-mode power supplies become more and more prolific.

There's money in this for just carrying out the monitoring, never mind engineering a solution ;)
 
Power Quality ? is this to do with lead and lagg. im not afraid to ask, if i dont ask i might never know, well unless i look it up on the net.

That's power factor but often badly matched power factor correction can cause power quality problems.

Have a read of the link, there's some good stuff in there :)
