I am 30 years old. I am looking into training as an electricians and have been reading about various different courses available. I have been working as a warehouse operative for many years and would like to start a new career. My main aim at the end of it would be to become self employed mainly catering for the domestic market. I would like to continue my current job whilst doing the course. I am living in Scotland, near Edinburgh. My main questions are:
1. What course would be best suitable for me?
2. What kind of oppurtunities are there after completion of a course?
3. How much would someone realistically earn on average as a trained electrician?
