Morning All...

After some different ideas for LED plinth lighting.

Have fitted these before : Aurora - 'Passionate about Lighting'

Look the business, but an absolute pain in the :ciappa: too fit! (Aurora couldn't have made them any harder if they tried - 2 microscopic fixing screws, zero tolerance on your level adjustment once fixed etc etc :furious3:)

Given customer option of LED strips all round, but apparently this is too 'pimpy'

Any thoughts please / what do you use (money is no object on this one - going for quality)

Many Thanks,

Sy

Just used flexible LED tapes on a job spec'ed by a lighting designer.....fixed to the underside of the units up against the plinth, looked the dogs, even continuous illumination with the tapes themselves not visible. Had a few problems with fixing, they were supplied with self adhesive tape, which soon came unstuck and left the tape hanging in loops...CT1 clear construction adhesive failed as well....clear silicon did the job though.

Did give that option - my preferance - but no good on this one... shame really

So the customer does not want LED strips, you do not want to fit standard plinth lights... Hmm
Possibilities are to do away with plinth lighting and go for under cabinet lighting which is easier to wire.
You could try LED pin lights like these Set of 6 Mini White LED Kitchen Plinth Lights: SB-EL-20063-WH DUP
If you really want to go to town you could check out Philips lumiblade OLED panels (at a very reasonable price!)
Lumiblade OLEDs - Philips

other than that a bit stuck for potential alternatives
