The heater was plugged into a double socket. Which was on its own 16amp radial.

after a few months of use the socket was not working.

i get a call so I straight away put plug my socket tester in.

its saying there is no neutral connection.

the client hen says she plugged the heater into a diff socket. I checked that and I had the same problem.

Both socket were damaged where the netruel prong goes.

i think it's a faulty heater, but could it be any thing else.

Loose Neutral in the Plug causing too much heat, Is the cable damaged or is the fault with the actual socket ?

No cable damage just at the socket.

would never no if it was a faulty n in the plug, as you carny get in to the ****

heat has transferred through via the metalwork of the plug pin to the wall socket plate and baked its insides......renew the two sockets, chop off the plug on the heater and replace with a new plug.....jobs a goodun :)

I wouldn't take a hens word for it their brains are tiny:D probably a loose neutral in the plug or the heater

Moulded plug!? then cut it off and replace with a plug you can check

The best moulded plug is the one that's in the bin IMO they are useless on high low appliances
