Hi, Iv just purchased a charger from America and it's come with the two pin plug top now obviously this won't work here in the UK. On the charger it says 120v - 50/60Hz, I was just wondering if it was possible for me to put a 110v Commando plug on the end and charge it through an on site transformer?

Pardon my ignorance on this, if it seems a silly question. :D

Hi Tom

I'm gonna say it should be ok, from what I can remember things genrally allow a 10% differnce so it should work down to 108v.

Hope that helps

Dan

Thank you for this.

Any other theories would be greatful. If I do add this will a PAT test be a good test for this to check that it could be ok, or would that not prove anything.
