The plumber has ran his gas, hot and cold pipes into a void that my electric cables are, wondered what implications there could be apart from heat from pipes and water . need to run more cables through this void wondered if I should put cables in conduit for protection.Any feed back welcome.

should be at least a 2" space between pipes and cables, and hot pipes not directly beneath cables. a length of trunking wouldn't come amiss.

Thanks for response could pin back cables entering and leaving void but cannot get access into void to check inside best I can do is either leave lots of slack so cables drop away from pipes inside or 1 lenght of PVC conduit?
