I had a call today from a guy who recently had a boiler installed in an upstairs cupboard, since the work was done 2 sockets in the kitchen didn't work, I found this under the floor where he joined into one leg of the ring to feed the boiler, the actual 2 sockets not working were because there was a loose wire in the jb and the 2 sockets were just spurs of spurs off the ring, I installed a MF joint temporarily and advised the customer to have the altered circuit rewired, the spur for the boiler was stuffed into connectors in the floor, sadly I didn't take a photo of that part of the wiring, but did take a shot of the JB lol, check out the quality of work here, never trust a bummer
