oh yes?...yes, extremely common, if you look at overhead LV poles many have little PME plaques on them
but more likely to be PNB i would have thought...Loads of overhead PME around these parts
PME overheads have every 3rd pole staked to earth, probably one of the most common forms of distribution here in the sunny south west. I have only ever seen PNB a few times generally for supplys to large sites, in fcat the last time I seen it was at a hospital.but more likely to be PNB i would have thought...

Never seen a hospital supplied by a DNO LV supply, they are usually supplied at MV, with either their own TX(s) or DNO TX's. I wouldn't of thought that the LV side of those hospital TX's would be a PME/TNC-S earthing system either...
Just finished a rewire of a house, just before i started the customer had got an electric shock from the bath, arm in plaster for two months due to nerve damage, I called DNO to tell them overhead supply had probably lost its neutral or had a short, turned out to be a loose bit of consentric strand shorting on the pole, electricity can be a dangerous thing indeed.
