Hi, new member here, I have aquestion obv on electrics. New connection to outbuilding, had a PME system installed, labelled like that by EON. Then Seimans metering installed the meter and an isolator. Now whilst I find an electrician, I had a CU installed. Do I now need to get EON back to break the seal to connect the earth? Not sure why they didnt just connect the earth up to the CU while there, seems a little silly to do what they did knowing they will have to come back in 4 weeks and Seimans left a security seal on the isolator locked off, do I need to get them back ahead of an electrician starting work or will the qualified electrician take care of both aspects? Whats the norm please?

first, welcome to the asylum. as regards your query, best to ask your electrician the question as he will be able to either do it himself or liase with EON.
