My son has just bought a place in portugal. Its in the middle of nowhere and has a overhead feed to a rather battered looking service supply.
After the refurb he is planning the wiring needs to be done. A local ( portuguese ) Sparks has quoted a massive amount ( over 2500 euros ) to do the job. I think this is way over the top.
My question is. can british spec cu etc be used in portugal ( their kit looks Crud )?
Also whats to stop us diong the work ourselves? ( No ring finals to worry about !! )
