Hi all,
I have been asked to install an inline bathroom fan to be vented through the gable end wall, the gas boiler already vents through this wall about 3 metres away. Does anyone know the regs (if any) regarding the position of the bathroom extractor fan vent in relation to the boiler vent.
Many thanks

id say just keep 150mm apart like the osg says for distance between cu and gas meter , tho somone might give you better advice if you hold fire for 5mins, maybe slightliy lower than gas one.... sorry dont know just guessing but..

As you are about 3 metres away and bathroom fans extract air to outside I don't think you have a problem
I would consult the boiler manufacturer or the installation instructions for the specific requirements for that boiler but as mentioned in a previous post 600mm is the normal distance required for co located opening windows or vents

Thanks for all the replies, I managed to talk to a gas safe fitter who pointed me to Part J approved document table 34 which states 300mm so all will be o.k. Once again thanks for the quick replies.
