Potential 1st August FIT rate

Sorry i mean 1st MAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have heard the current rate will probably stay at current rates. Anyone know when the 1st August rate will be confirmed? When does DECC have to confirm is by? Is it 1st March?

We have a customer stressing about FIT cuts!. It's like the good old days!

I've explained about the no FIT cut in May, and 3.5% FIT cut in August situation here

there is no way there can be a FIT cut in May due to the low installation rate in the last quarter, but there must be at least a 3.5% FIT cut in August because there's a maximum of 9 months between FIT cuts. It's possible the August FIT cut could be 7% (or even higher) if the install rate picks up this quarter to over 100MWp for 0-4kW installations, but we'll not know that til May, personally I'd think it quite likely it might be 7%, but very unlikely to be any higher.
