Hi Guys,

just fitted four four of these to refurbished bathrooms in a hotel, on testing the push button the unit makes a strange sound and packs up! This has happened to all four, I'm an experienced electrician and it's possible its a faulty batch, has any one had a similar experience with these units?

There's not much that could be wrong with the installation side of things.

Are your L +N in and outs the right way round?

Have you measured the Zs (not sure if Zs value would affect the units)?

All test are fine, it simply doesn't maks sense! I'm really hoping to find someone with a similar problem prior to retuning them to the wholesalers.

If you are confident that it's all connected fine etc I would be phoning the manufacturer 1st thing tomorrow morning to see if they have had any more complaints regarding the same situation.

There definitely connected correctly, gone through it lots of times, even got the hotel maintenance guy to double check my connections just in case I was going mad.
