Hello guys, I wondered if I could get some advice here...

First off I'm only after advice and I won't be trying to do the installation myself unless its a lot more simple than it sounds, I just want somebody to turn it into none electrician speak if possible and tell me what equipment I need etc

Basically I started my own business a few months back, we produce signs, vehicle graphics etc I'm wanting to add a large industrial printer which seems to have specific power needs.

Here is a PDF explaining the site preparation, its on page 4.

My unit where I want to install this is 3phase, I'm not sure about volts and amps. Being a new business I'm worried the set up costs are going to be too high as I'm breaking the bank to fund the printer itself. Does it sound like a specialized installation or something relatively simple?

any help appreciated.

The situation depends on the size of printer you have 42in or 60in.
Overall the basic power requirements appear fairly straightforward, two double pole 16A radial circuits, but the fact that the instructions are attempting to cater for all countries causes difficulties.
The requirement for a 208V three phase supply transformer required for the 60in is not standard, but is also not clarified in the instructions.
I would expect this to be the most expensive part of the exercise as this is a generally US specified voltage. Check what they actually need for this one in the UK.
Double pole MCBs are not standard in the UK so it would be worth checking if this is actually needed in the UK (it is a good idea but a bit more difficult to implement).
The cost of the install would be best determined by calling in an electrician (or several) to quote for the installation as the cable runs could cause considerable variation in cost.

from the spec. , it seems that the 60" is japan only. as richard says, it seems pretty straightforward. i'd be happy to give you a quote, but there are members closer to you than i am. archy strigg, for one.
