Not sure if the picture uploaded. Assuming It did then can someone tell me if this is acceptable
and within the prescribed zones? A customer has a rang cooker powered from the cooker switch but
is having it replaced with a hob built into a granite worktop and an oven located on the adjacent
wall. I want to run the feed from the cooker switch to the new oven but don't wish to run a cable
up then across and back down as there is no void above the ceiling and as it's an old property
there are about 5 beams in the way. So I thought the best way would be to remove a row of tiles,
chase horizontally from the accessory then drop down vertically above the outlet, fill in and
replace the tiles. But what about the horizontal run on the wall where the oven is to be located
technically it's not horizontal from any accessory is it? Thanks in advance

blanking plate over original cooker switch. joint new cable to new cooker switch on left hand wall. drop to CCU.

As much as horizontal runs are allowed I always try to avoid it

Aye, I agree. That's why I am asking if there are any base units going against those walls. Vertical run down from existing switch then horizontally surface run (in trunking?) hidden behind base units.
