Hi I have been asked to install a complete electrical system in a new build in France, i understand the difference in regs and don't have a problem with that was just unsure of what would be a normal price for the work. They have already said they will pay for all expanses etc. so it will only be a cost for labour?

If you can estimate with some confidence how long it will take you, and you know your normal labour rate, then why can't you price the job in a similar way to one in the UK? Perhaps including travel time.

You have mentioned expenses will be covered (travel, accommodation) but perhaps you need to add something for the inconvenience of being away from home for however many days (assuming is it an inconvenience, rather than a holiday!).

I guess you really want to know labour rates in France, to judge how competitive you'd be?
