Does anyone know what the average price of copper is at the min??? I've got a bit i need to weigh in but i want to wait untill the best time to get the best money for it

It depends where you go, if its clean, or stripped, etc.. I usually take mine in burnt and get about ÂŁ3 to ÂŁ3.50 a kilo. But different scrap merchants will give you different prices. Its down a bit at the moment i think. I was getting ÂŁ4+ per kilo at the start of the year.

its not stripped.. 2.5mm & 10mm t&e and 35mm SWA. i've heard its quite high near me at the min in the west mids.. i suppose im best off just ringing round tomorrow and seeing who gives the best price

i remember loading the boot of my mk4 Vaux astra 12months ago and getting ÂŁ78 for a load of FP and T&E even though the boot was rammed.. but that was when the prices were really really low.
 
Been this morning, 68 kilos unstripped payed ÂŁ100, that was in Nottingham, a few weeks back I got ÂŁ1.78 a kilo, but it has dropped back a bit lately
