hell thats expensive. i have not bought any for a while. last i paid was around thirty quid for it and that does not seem that long ago

Got stung for £57 plus the vat before Christmas from Neweys buggers. Truth be told I didn't even ask or haggle at time must have been a good day for them

We are using toolstation at the moment for cable - free delivery as well.
Cable seems ok, one roll we used seemed slightly sticky when stripping.

had a load yesterday.......1.0mm £24, 2.5mm £44, 4.0mm £70, 6.0mm £88.

i was quite depressed......where is it going to end?

We've started collecting copper now. Got a couple of bag's in the lock up and loads of offcuts of armoured.

Plumber on a job we was on stripped out all the pipework in a 3 story house and got over £1,500

Guys, you might find this website useful, it's the London Metal exchange which helps you track the price of raw copper, we use it to try to determine when to buy/not to buy cables. A hike in the copper price is generally followed by a hike in the T&E price about 4 weeks later, it might prove useful for some of you buying in bulk in future.
