Price per kw?

Hi guys,

Got the possibility of a lot of 50kw installs coming up and just wanted to know what people are charging per kw? I've heard around £50 does that sound about right?

Before somebody else mentions this, is a public forum the place to discuss prices? Try one of the many suppliers.

If it's fitting alone then it depends entirely on the mounting system in my opinion.

If we're talking threading steel purlins and hanger bolts on a corrugated cement roof then you're going to want more than a trapezoidal roof.

Hi guys sorry for the lack of info. Basically it's for a price to just install the electrical side of things. All the panels and rails are fitted for us so it's just to run the strings in and wire the AC side.

I assume they are sorting out design, G59 application, testing etc. and you are purely installing the system?

price per kWp is difficult to do as a 50kWp install wouldn't involve much more work than a, say, 20kWp system.
