Hi, i've recently been asked to do a particular job that i dont often find, basically its changing
a normal light fitting to an emergency light fitting, but im unsure as what to charge for it, any suggestions, also for both with and without the testing, thanks, Steve

You would need to check that there is a permanent supply at fitting first as if the isn't then you would need to take in to account the cost of running one to the fitting location from the nearest permanent supply on that circuit as well as cost for the new emergency fitting and labour for replacing it.

Don't forget the provision of a key switch for testing purposes.

no-no, the emergency lighting circuit is there, with the key switch, just im gonna run an extra one on the circuit- 1.5mm all round and 6 fittings so no need to upgrade the cable- all it needs is just changing over- the emergency circuits are self contained (I think!!!)
