pricing 3 bed bungalow!!!

hi all, im new, so first of all a big hello
ive just gone on my own and registered with napit!!

quoting for a 3 bed bungalow with en-suite attached garage and conservatory, all normal white plastic fittings except fire rated brushed chrome downlighters in kitchen, bathroom & en-suite, oh and some under unit lighting in the kitchen. decorative fan with 3 lights in the conservatory, 5ft flurescent in garage, 4 half wall lanterns outside, 2 shaver points, tv points & bt points, ring main & kitchen ring main, also radials to cooker & hob, whirlpool bath, boiler, burglar alarm witch im fitting (wired), also 4 lighting circuits & a smoke circuit

all on a wylex 15 way dual rcd board fed by 25mm 3 core swa from meter box

ive priced all the merials with vat £1277

this job is in essex and only 5 mins from where i live

so im wondering how much to ad on top for labour, i dont want to bugger up as there are another 18 bungalows if all goes well.

so if anyone could help me with regards to pricing, id very much appreciate your help

Estimate how long it will take you to do the re-wire, and price it per day at say £160/day

hey thanks for the reply, as its a new build, i was kind of thinking about 8 days for everything, so does that sound about right do you think?

Difficult to say really, only you know your abilities. Some guys could do it in 5 days some could only do it in 2 weeks. You've got to take into account whether other trades might slow you down, whether all your goods are delivered on time etc. The last thing you want to do is give yourself too little time and then find yourself working 2 extra unpaid days just to finish the job. 8 days sounds about right, seeing as its a bungalow you could probably have the first fix done in a day or two, 4-5 days for second fix and day contingency! But that is only my opinion.

Put it this way the electric supply companys charge 3 grand for a normal house basic 9 lights and sockets.
