Just wondering does anybody price using a rate per point ?

I dont at the moment but I have thought about it, just unsure of what to charge and how far to go with it.

If you charge say £50 per point, if you then fit a light and switch, is that 1 point or 2 ??

Be interesting to see how the lads who charge per point do it.

Yeah bit unsure myself... doing some stuff on points sockets @ £55 and this works well. But like you say lighting not too sure on ? 3gang light switch, pendant, recessed downlight ??

We always price per point. £50 a point, if you hve a 3 gang light switch than its £150, not including the pendants

So a 3 gang switch plus the 3 pendants = £300. Is that correct? And what about like for like replacements, what kind of per point charge would that be m8?

i recenty did a like for klike replacement on changing light pendants in a house.. 10 lights.. 100 euro, with me supplying the pendants

Never priced by the point to be honest, other than when I used to work for mrs electric.

All my commercial work is priced per light or point or meter of 3 comp trunking but any dometic I work our material cost and labour
