I have only recently gone on my own and am still struggling on pricing
what would be the going rate (midlands) to split the ring and add 4 new sockets surface mounted in a loft space 15m cable max, a light from a spur point and wire a cooker hood (spur point already there)
around 4-5 hours work
does £170 sound to much.

Sounds fair enough.£30 a socket and £25 for each of the others
