Hello members, could you give me sum advise on pricing, i have taken the idea of pricing per point, ie £45 . 6 twin skts = £270. I am wiring a washroom as part of job, which includes 1 x lighting bulk head with 1gang switch, 1 x twin skt. 2 x 13amp spurs suppling 2 x single non switched skts. The 13amp spurs r supplying wash machine and dryer, do i charge 45 for each individual point as detailed above. Would a light and switch become 1 point or 2? Going on 45 per point how much wud u charge for washroom. Thank you lads.

1 bulkhead with switch £60
1 twin socket £45
1 13A spur with unswitched socket £60X2=£120 £250 the lot,seems fair.How long do you expect it to take you.

Really with a job that small its not easy to price, if you are on a job for a full day then ok but remember you have to get there, set up, carry out the works, certify, pack up and get on to the next job.

I would have said a dsso is around £50-£65 but thats in the grand scheme of things, ie installing a few of them, you wouldnt give that price for one socket, on the other hand if you had 30 DSSO in the same room, you may do them for £35 each, swings and roundabouts as someone once said
