hi
just filling out an eic and under the section- characterstics of primary supply overcurrent protective device.not sure what to put? the job its self was in a block of flats that has a tns supply, but then each flat has a 60a and a 40a mcb (dorman smith mcb) i cant find any other fuse etc.
would this mcb be what i put down? ( BS EN 3871)?
what type would it therfore be?
and what short cicuit capacity would it be?
would really appreciate some feed back on this thanks.

The primary supply overcurrent device is the DNO service fuse at the main intake. It's these details you will need.

this is often a nightmare in large installations such as hospitals and schools etc as it takes such a long time to gain access to the incomer

Yes, that's on 10% of installations, you then have 80% sealed and the rest are nice and easy!
