Hi
Ive been working on a development of 10 appartments, the meter guys have now been but I noticed that on several meters the meter tails have not enterered the lucy box in pairs through the same entry holes, some have lives and neutrals entering via differant holes.
Now I always thought that this could cause a current to be induced in steel of any switchgear if its ferrous.
Am I right? and if so how likely is this to happen? Is it worth getting them back to rectify it? I dont want to leave the job if its unsafe but dont want to split hairs either.
Cheers
