I recently installed a new 17th Edition Board but was for the council. Found a few things im not sure about, part of the ring main is connected thru the CU with thru crimps. The customer obviously didnt want to repair cables by putting new legs in but wondered if this is something that could be pulled by Elecsa if they check this peice of work??

As far as im aware there is no problem using through crimps to extend your cable as long as the crimps are accessable for inspection. Most sparkys stager them and add shrink tubeing to be extra safe.
