Hi all,
Quick question for anyone out there.....
I have two inverters feeding into a 'PV' Distribution board, protected by appropriately rated MCB's. I am feeding directly into an existing cable (i.e through a new junction box) as opposed to feeding into an existing distributiob board.
My question is this, the incomer of the DB (outgoing cable to connection point from PV) usually houses a switch disconnector, does this need to be changed out to an MCB to cover the current of both inverters?
Do I need an MCB rated to both the inverter currents bearing in mind that I have RCD protection just before the point of connection?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
