Hi People,

I am new to this site but have been doing lots of reading on different posts and have found lots of helpful information. I have started up on my own about two months ago and upto now have lost four jobs already by not being niceic registered! From reading older posts I think I have just been unlucky and managed to find the wrong customers as I know from posts that elecsa etc are very good. I have decided to go for the niceic approved contractor scheme and am just waiting for initial assessment date.

Anyway sorry for rambling on, I need a proving unit for when im doing safe isolation etc but cannot find any on ebay and to be honest dont really know where to look on the internet so a bit of help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Hi Frosty69 and welcome.

I use a kewprove 2 as it goes up to 690V (slowly). You can get some that will go up to 240V as well but that's no use if you do any 3 phase work. Just try googling and you'll find plenty.
