I'm a member of avforums, quite useful for knowledge on advice for all things av. There is a catorgory on 'Home Cinema Buying & Building', which deals with the obvious. Great section to see how people convert their houses, and install their own cinemas, something I would like to do if I had the money, time and space.
However, some people either do it on a shoestring and do a lot of the work themselves, instead of employing professionals, I'm talking of electrics, heating & plumbing etc. I've seen and read some hum dingers on the electrics, and kinda just give some advice about employing a competent electrician, and have been derided some times, saying it's not a black art. Most are sensible though.
I've sort of given up now, here's one example #244 & 255 specifically https://www.avforums.com/threads/ongoing-plasmadans-living-room-cinema-office-build.1992617/page-9
The OP say's he's an electrician, I wouldn't want to try and access that CU and get a nice crick neck, and as he started his planning in November 2015, think he's hard pushed to justify an insulated CU.
Am I being just picky? Genuine question.
