Anyone know anything about this - just had a customer ask what it was. I Googled it, usual vague crap on the website - anyone actually seen any details? of course the salesman couldn't provide information about it when he surveyed!!

No, not at all - just Googled to see what it was - lying *******s! I've pasted it so no-one Googles it to see what they are saying. I've just spent the last 10 minutes explaining in an email why the figures don't stack up.

I could not afford the massive up front cost, The PSP scheme is a win win!
[SUP]“I recently qualified for the Project Solar Scheme which enabled me to get my solar panel system for nothing. The scheme is a win win, I really wanted to get solar panels installed like my neighbour but I could not afford the massive up front cost of £7,000+. I have got the my solar panels now, the government FIT tariff covers my payments and I am still left with £65 of earnings and savings each month in my pocket!"

Buying a system on tick? Payments to installer taken from FiT income? Does all sound a bit vague. Energy efficiency measures paid for out of income/savings, so customer is not out of pocket? Sounds like some crazy government deal that never quite caught on....

Find attached a Due Dil report on these guys from last month.

I understand that their winding-up order was as a result of a dispute with another well-known stockist/distributor.

It would be interesting to know whether they are really Sunpower Premium Installers. Maybe they install Sunpowers for lucky people like Adhiambo Nkosazana and her church friends from Peterborough !!
